Aronia Berry Jelly, Black Hills

At the Crazy Horse Memorial in the Black Hills of South Dakota, I bought a jar of aronia berry jelly simply because I had no idea what it was. It tasted like a generic berry jelly, not as unique as I expected it to be, but still good.

I added the jelly to my rice cake with peanut butter, which made a fantastic snack.

We munched the rice cakes in the car in the parking lot, with the view of Crazy Horse next to us.

    • Thank you for visiting my website and blog. And thank you for adding my email address to your blogroll.

Have you tried aronia berries? This amazing “new” fruit has a unique flavor and its antioxidant content is off the charts!

You can eat aronia berries fresh off the bush either raw or processed in many different ways. Several businesses sell frozen, dried, and processed aronia berries.

Links to recipes that use aronia berries are posted on my website and blog. There is even an aronia recipe book!
