How to Eat quoteHere’s a wonderful (but long, so I’m not going to type it out) quote I found in a new book I’m reading: How to Eat by Thich Nhat Hanh. It’s a great book, with little Buddhist tips and thoughts on eating, such as this, each only a page or so long.

“Now Christmas comes, ’tis fit that we
should feast and sing, and merry be:
Keep open house, let fiddlers play.
A fig for cold, sing care away;
And may they who thereat repine,
On brown bread and on small beer dine.”
