I’m feeling pretty lazy about writing since work has been so busy lately, so here is a WIAW with minimal narrative but lots of pictures.
Breakfast: 1 whole-wheat tortilla with 1 oz. cream cheese (with leftover juicer pulp mixed in) and 1 tbsp. organic raw honey.
Coffee…
with stevia and Coffee Mate.
Snack number one: “Peeled” apple clusters
This is what they looked like. They came in a box full of health-food samples my Secret Santa got me for Christmas and so far all the snacks have been really delicious!
Lunch: salad of romaine lettuce with Newman’s Own lite honey-mustard dressing
Dessert: three macadamia-nut Hershey’s kisses (I brought back a big bag from Hawaii).
Snack number two: 1 tbsp. “white chocolate wonderful” peanut butter by Peanut Butter & Co. (which by the way, just has some sugar mixed in; there’s no real chocolate in it, sadly).
Dinner: papadum and sauces (my friends Chelsea and Tanner met me for Indian dinner at Chola after work to discuss/plan our upcoming birthday party).
I ordered two appetizers, which turned out to be more food than I expected (I ate it all nonetheless, with some help from Tanner). The first was nimbu murgh: tandoori lime chicken.
The other was lasoni gobi: tangy cauliflower with ginger.
I also had two glasses of pino grigio.
Dessert (when I got home): a handful of toffee chocolate-covered macadamia nuts, because realistically, even when I’m on my healthy-eating plan I need chocolate at least once (but probably twice) a day.
