A few weekends ago, Mik and I went to see Yayoi Kusama’s exhibit “Fireflies on the Water” at the Whitney Museum. Unfortunately, the exhibition was so popular that the tickets were sold out by the time we got there, so we decided to just eat brunch at the museum’s restaurant, Untitled since we were already there. My meal was a chicken burger, which had an odd texture; when I ordered it, for some reason I expected it to be a grilled chicken sandwich but it was an actual burger. The bun, cheese, tomato and home fries were really good, though.

There was still some of Yayoi’s art in the restaurant, which created an awesome atmosphere. And, Kiyo and I went back to the Whitney the next weekend to see “Fireflies on the Water,” and it was beautiful! I loved it.
