When I visited my friend Stu in his hometown of Newton Massachusetts this summer, he brought me a few towns over to Eagle’s Deli, since it was featured in a show on my favorite channel, Food Network. The burger I tried was the Inferno Burger: grilled onions, jalapeños, hot sauce, and cheddar cheese… and I asked them to add bacon. The fries were good, and the burger was huge, juicy, and spicy. I think the bacon really complemented it (well, I guess bacon complements almost anything pretty well). Overall, it was fantastic… but I don’t think I could ever take on the 5 pound burger challenge!
