During the summer I spent in New York City this past year, I read about this small place called Prosperity Dumpling in some random food article, so after work one day, I ventured into Chinatown with Kiyo and our friend Dylan. Five delicious, fresh pork dumplings were only $1! We of course topped them with lots of hot sauce.
Since a few dumplings don’t really constitute a full meal, I also bought this sesame pancake sandwich with beef and vegetables, which was also absolutely delicious. The pancakes were slightly sweet and very soft, the meat was tender, and overall it sort of resembled a banh mi with the crunchy carrots and fresh herbs.
