Just a few blocks from my summer apartment in the East Village is the adorable little restaurant Thai Terminal. One of my favorite Thai dishes to eat in the USA is pad see ew (which apparently means “soy sauce stir fry”), which Thai Terminal made wonderfully. I loved that there weren’t just a bunch of noodles punctuated by a few veggies and bits of chicken, but that each element of the dish balanced the others.

Kiyo had some sort of similar dish that we cannot exactly remember now, with chicken, noodles and vegetables.
